Paul Marden

is our CEO

Paul is the CEO of Carbon Six Digital & Rubber Cheese.

After an early stint in the attractions world helping to setup the National Botanic Garden of Wales, he spent 10 years in the world of corporate IT at British Airways. Following the merger of Carbon Six Digital and Rubber Cheese, Paul became CEO of both agencies.

He has a technical background, and is active in the Umbraco community. He's an Umbraco MVP (Most Valuable Person) and also a member of the Umbraco CMS Advisory Board who likes to think outside the box, often coming up with creative solutions that clients didn’t know were possible. Paul oversees all aspects of the business, with a particular interest in new business and operations.

Paul is a Trustee of Kids in Museums, and an experienced school governor. He also runs a very active coding club for primary aged children.

He loves reading murder mysteries, and was disappointed there was no crime to solve when he travelled on the Caledonian Sleeper. Playing up to the tech geek stereotype he loves watching sci-fi.
